Preliminary sketch
This Avro Lancaster is currently undergoing restoration. To create a drawing that reflects how the aircraft will eventually appear in the museum, we referenced multiple archival black-and-white photographs. By combining these with insights from Lancaster experts, we were able to construct the most accurate representation of the aircraft in this drawing.
